First of all we would like to wish all our clients past, present and future a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
It’s been another eventful month here at Priority Pixels. Firstly we managed to get our internet working! Isn’t it amazing how much we all now rely on an internet connection to carry out the most mundane of daily tasks. Without the internet is like being without any hot water or heating for some people!
Secondly we have also managed to kit the office out with a new microwave and kettle allowing us to eat and drink at our desks while we work! Again although generally accepted by most as being a given these two items were given the red carpet treatment when they arrived at our office!
Lastly and probably more importantly we have secured some great business this month. SEO has certainly been the topic of the month with several businesses approaching us to discuss their SEO strategy. Both Thermo Door and Cherry Pick People have come on board the Priority Pixels SEO train which is heading for the top of google! We will be working hard over the coming weeks and months to ensure their SEO strategies are implemented to their fullest.
So what is SEO? Well SEO stands for Search Engine Optimisation. What does it do? It helps promote your website to the people you want. Essentially our argument here at Priority Pixels has always been what’s the point in spending money building a website that no one will see. In other words SEO is the marketing of your website. We have come across many people who think, great I have just had a new website built so I can now sit back, relax and enjoy the money rolling in! Well it doesn’t quite work like that. Let me ask you a question. If you bought a shop would you just wait for customers to pop in? No you would carry out some sort of promotional activity in order to help drum up custom, maybe run an ad in a local paper, have an launch day or even tweet about it.
So why do it differently when you have a website? Well the answer to that is you shouldn’t. Think of your website as your shop. There are millions of other ‘shops’ on the internet, so just by opening yours doesn’t mean people are going to see it. You need to promote it, shout about it and make sure that as many people as possible can see it. In order to do this you need to carry out SEO. You need to ensure that the content of your website is relevant and up to date so that Google give your site a bigger authority. You then need to make sure the coding is right to ensure it is read by the search engines properly. You also need to make sure that not only do you have social media accounts but that you’re actually posting across all of them regularly (once a week at least). You also need to ensure your local directory listings are added (of which there are literally hundreds). And this is all before you start spending money on AdWords, Facebook ads or content marketing.
In summary SEO at a local level is absolutely imperative for all websites. It’s your business and in order to have your business online you must carry out the promotion of your website once your site is live. Otherwise you would have spent money on a new website that no one can see!

Priority Pixels were fantastic to work with, incredibly personable and a pleasure to commission for the design of our site. I would thoroughly recommend them to any other small business in need of a new site and will be continuing to use them in the future.

Initially I rang enquiring about SEO / ad word marketing only. But I was so impressed with their service and level of professionalism received, that I had my hosting transferred to them as well. I find Priority Pixels informative, proactive and reliable. He lets me know exactly what is going to be done and by when, which is so important to me, so I don't have to waste my time chasing deadlines. Highly recommend.

I can’t praise Priority Pixels highly enough and have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone who wants a professional website. In fact, we have already asked them to start work on redesigning our other website next month! I think that probably says it all!

We have been working with Priority Pixels for three years and during that time we have successfully launched and developed our website. Priority Pixels was in at the start and initially constructed our website and subsequently has helped to develop it with more and better features. They have always been on hand to answer queries and provide general support which we greatly appreciate.

Once the website was launched and live, I had no hesitation in retaining Priority Pixel's on a monthly retainer to continue to 'work behind the scenes' to support me with the ongoing, updating and maintaining of the website so it continues to perform at its optimum level.
