A Winning Season for Newton Abbot Rugby Club
In June last year, we announced our official Pitchside Partnership with Newton Abbot Rugby Club. At the time, our own team were beyond thrilled to partner with such a treasured fixture within our community. We couldn’t wait to cheer on our favourite club from the sidelines as official sponsors.
Almost a year later, our relationship with Newton Abbot Rugby Club has only strengthened with time.
A successful bonfire night
Over the past year, the team at Priority Pixels have been helping Newton Abbot Rugby Club with aspects of their social media. From a comedy night hosted by local legend Noel Brodie to promoting Christmas dinner at the club, the resulting excitement and anticipation we’ve built on their social media channels have translated into a series of incredibly successful events for both the club and our local community.
So, when Newton Abbot Rugby Club decided to host a fireworks extravaganza for Bonfire Night last November, we got to work. Our team of social media experts and content creators concocted and launched a bespoke social media campaign advertising the event. By working closely with the club, Priority Pixels created a highly successful campaign that culminated in a far larger turnout than anyone could have imagined. It was quite literally, explosive (pun intended).
Priority Pixels take on the Newton Abbot Rugby Club’s social media
Following bonfire night, it was agreed we would take on the club’s social media full time. Brainstorming, creating and publishing engaging content across the club’s social media channels is no small feat.
However, our hard work appears to have paid off. So far, the campaign has been a huge success.
Winning success for the All Whites
Just last Saturday, the Newton Abbot All Whites triumphed over Kingsbridge RFC in what has been described as a close-run struggle.
According to the Devon Rugby Football Union, Newton Abbot Rugby Club were poised for success with home advantage and an enormous crowd of avid supporters – but Kingsbridge RFC certainly put up a good fight!
Simon Morrell, the All Whites coach, commended the Kingsbridge team, stating they “never fail to disappoint and are a seriously impressive outfit”.
A thrilling end to the season
The win on Saturday makes the All Whites the winners of the Devon Intermediate Cup Final. So basically, they’ve cemented their position as top dogs of the league. They’ve also given us all a thrilling finish to the season.
It’s also important to note that the Spartans, Colts and All Whites Ladies have also had a fantastic season. In fact, the All Whites Ladies played in the Championship 2s for the first time. They certainly put in a valiant effort and we were all immensely proud to cheer them on pitchside.
What a journey it’s been! Priority Pixels are proud partners and supporters of Newton Abbot Rugby Club and can’t wait to see where we go together next. Anybody else already excited for next season?
