As manufacturers and suppliers of window cavity closers, Subframes UK are approved fabricators for many of the UK’s home insulation giants. But their website and branding didn’t reflect the stature of the company, so a new site and new company branding were a top priority.
Based in Derby, Subframes UK are well known throughout the UK’s commercial and residential new-build industry. As pioneers in the innovation and design of cavity closers, Subframes UK are fully approved fabricators and needed a corporate image that matched their reputation. With the current website not up to scratch, a total overhaul was the way forward.
And once the decision had been made to bring the website up to date, Subframes UK also took the opportunity to invest in brand new corporate branding. This included creating distinctive colour palettes and new logo to be used throughout the company’s marketing.
To achieve a fully up to date website and corporate branding, Priority Pixels were brought in to get started in these key areas:
- Website design & development
Designed and built to deliver an excellent user experience, the site should be easy to navigate with plenty of calls to action for new customers.
- Logo and branding
Creating a new, easily identifiable logo that could be used across both print and digital, to include new corporate style and colour.
The new site used WordPress for the main build, and had been specifically designed with a new layout and user experience. The main objective had been to bring everything up to date, ensuring customers found the site easily and were able to contact Subframes UK and request a quote. We also added the Google map for visitors to easily locate the premises.
Bringing the Subframes UK brand up to date also included making the website mobile friendly to capitalise on the growing number of mobile users visiting their site. As with all websites created by Priority Pixels, the new site is fully optimised to work on smartphones and tablets, as well as standard desktop browsers.
To complete the overall company rebrand, Priority Pixels also designed a new logo with fresh corporate colours. Working with Subframes UK throughout the process, we created different designs and colour variations, until the final logo you see on their site was chosen. Since we completed the branding and logo, Subframes UK have gone on to use them throughout their marketing, including building signage, uniforms and product packaging.
