Founded in 2021 by Medical Director Dr Craig Barker, uDerma is a CQC-registered dermatology clinic specialising in minor skin surgery and non-surgical facial aesthetic treatments. With decades of clinical experience, the team at uDerma has a passion for helping clients achieve healthy, confident skin through personalised care.
As a growing dermatology clinic, uDerma came to us for help creating a website that reflects their professionalism and expertise while making it easy for clients to browse treatments and book consultations online.

Branding
Our first step in developing uDerma’s brand was to create brand guidelines that would ensure consistency across every touchpoint, both online and offline. This included designing a new logo and establishing a colour palette that reflects the clinic’s distinct identity and values. The bronze-gold in their branding was chosen for its warm, luxurious feel, subtly highlighting the premium quality of their treatments.
To balance this, we incorporated a greyish-blue shade which is less clinical than the brighter blues commonly associated with public healthcare, yet still conveys trust and sophistication. These elements were then carried across their website, business cards, flyers and stationery, creating a cohesive and professional brand image that resonates with their clients.
Web Design & Development
UI Design
With multiple treatments and services on offer, it was crucial to organise the website’s content in a way that feels intuitive and easy to navigate. Our in-house design team started by analysing how users interact with similar sites, identifying common pain points and opportunities to improve the user journey for various user behaviours. A key feature of the site is the prominently placed “Book a Consultation” form, available across all pages to simplify the booking process and remove any guesswork. We also integrated testimonials to build trust and authority.
uDerma’s ethos is grounded in helping their clients feel confident with transparent, accessible treatments. To support this, each service page outlines what the particular treatment involves, who it is suitable for and what clients can expect before, during and after their procedure. This ensures visitors feel informed and reassured as they decide which treatment is right for them.
WordPress Development
Our development team followed the approved design visuals to bring uDerma’s website to life. For all of our websites, we create bespoke frameworks using WordPress as our open-source CMS of choice. This improves usability but also removes unnecessary features that can slow down a site and have a knock-on effect on SEO.
One of our main priorities was making the site responsive, meaning it automatically adapts to provide an optimal browsing experience across all screen sizes, whether a user is viewing from a smartphone, tablet or desktop. We also implemented a user-friendly backend that allows uDerma to update treatments, pricing or add any other content themselves as the clinic grows.
