New Website For Australia Based Knox Learning Alliance
This week we’re celebrating the launch of the Knox Learning Alliance website.
Based in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne Australia, Knox Learning Alliance is a partnership of organisations across the City of Knox, providing resources for training and careers planning, as well as accredited courses for adults in the area.
Knox Learning Alliance joins a number of organisations that have adopted the Health Connections Mendip model of enhanced primary care. Health Connections Mendip aims to connect patients with a range of community support services. Funding provided by the Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) was used to create a directory style website listing anything from choirs, alcohol support groups to exercise classes along with a group of community connectors, a small team of people to help get the word out and connect patients with services. The scheme was such a success that emergency hospital admissions in Frome fell by 14%. This gained National press coverage and even gained attention from overseas, in this case, Australia.
Priority Pixels have been working alongside Health Connections Mendip since 2018 helping to support and enhance their online offering. Part of this includes helping to further develop the directory and provide an offering that can be rolled out to other interested parties.
The Knox Learning Alliance website was built by our in-house team of web developers. Co-Founder and Director Paul Clapp has been working closely on the project and said, “It’s been a lovely experience working with the team at Knox Learning Alliance. There were some challenges due to working on opposite sides of the planet, but it goes to show no matter where you are in the world we have some wonderful tools at our disposal to help us collaborate on projects across time zones.”
We’re wishing Knox Learning Alliance the best of luck with their new website. If you would like to know more about the Health Connections Mendip or the Health Connections model, you can visit the website or learn more about our involvement here.
