A New Website For Direct Commerce
Direct Commerce delivers the latest news and trends from the commerce industry on its website. From articles and blogposts to detailed how-to guides, the online magazine features over 18,000 unique articles. Visitors can also peruse blog posts, some of which are subscriber-only. It’s a colossal news site specialising in B2B content and industry news.
When they first approached Priority Pixels, it was obvious Direct Commerce in need of a digital makeover. With over 18,000 pieces of content and numerous ill-functioning plug-ins, the previous website was buggy and slow to load.
Direct Commerce: Specialists in B2B Content
We needed to build a site that reflected the client’s brand, and was easier to access with a simplified sitemap. As always, navigation is key.
So the web design team here at our agency got to work. Always up for a challenge, we rebuilt the site from scratch. The website was built using standards compliant HTML, CSS and JavaScript. We also transferred more than 18,000 pieces of unique content over to the new site and optimised the layout for easy accessibility.
Working closely with Direct Commerce, the resulting website is an aesthetically modern, contemporary website that benefits from a fresh design and enhanced functionality. Perhaps most important, the site features quick loading times and a more considered navigation making it easier easy for customers to find what they are looking for.
