New Website for Artisan Chocolatiers
Local heroes and fellow Devonians Lloyd and James Chocolate craft delicious homemade chocolates with a traditional European flair. Their range of delectable, handcrafted delicacies are made on-site using a unique blend of Trinitario, Criollo and Forastero beans from Tanzania and Madagascar.
Formerly known as Cockington Chocolate, the existing website for the business was outdated and in need of a serious refresh. Lloyd and James asked for a simple yet visually immersive e-commerce website. The website would celebrate their love and dedication to traditional European chocolate making. It would also showcase a new way forward for Cockington Chocolate, which had been a fixture in the Torquay community for a number of years.
A new website for Lloyd and James Chocolate
The initial idea for an artisan chocolatier was conceived in the city of Bruges, the chocolate capital of the world located in the heart of sleepy Belgium. After witnessing the centuries-old traditions and customs found there, the pair behind Lloyd and James Chocolate knew they wanted to bring their newfound knowledge back to their own part of the world.
When Lloyd and James Chocolate first approached Priority Pixels, they had only just bought the business. With a rebrand already underway, our web developers needed to stick to the new brand guidelines already in place. We worked hard to make sure the website was easy to navigate, on-brand and reflected the client’s identity as a true blue, authentic chocolatier.
The resulting website is an aesthetically elegant e-commerce website reminiscent of a bygone era – and our team are pretty proud of it!
