Lifestyle & Product Photography for Lloyd & James Chocolate
Here at Priority Pixels, we love a rebrand. So when Lloyd & James Chocolate, previously known as The Cockington Chocolate Company, approached our team looking for assistance, we were more than happy to jump on board and get things moving. From innovative web design to bespoke product photography and content creation, the team at Priority Pixels have been working closely with Lloyd & James Chocolate over the last few months to get everything ready in time for the launch of the new site.
Of course, no rebrand is complete without a little fresh imagery. So in February, as part of the rebrand process, we organised a professional product photography shoot for Lloyd & James Chocolate with renowned UK photographer and Devon local Will Reddaway. The imagery was to be utilised on the new website as well as in both digital and printed marketing materials.

The purpose of the shoot was to showcase a story and a lifestyle as well as the brand itself. Although there needed to a degree of creative freedom, a little direction was needed to ensure Lloyd & James Chocolate got the most out of the day. On behalf of the client, Priority Pixels utilised the sitemap for the new website to proactively organise and manage the photoshoot. The products would be shot one by one. These shots would be followed by bundled product shots as well as the exterior and interior of the shop itself such as the kitchen. Lifestyle and occasion imagery was also needed. This would include photographs of the truffles and chocolates being made, photography for events and occasions such as Father’s Day and of course, headshots of the people behind the business – including Ian, the new owner and mastermind behind the rebrand.
The resulting photoshoot was a huge success. By organising the shoot around the sitemap of the new website, the team at Priority Pixels ensured a productive yet efficient process for both our photographer and the client.
This rebrand project is currently ongoing but with the website launch in our sights, the team at Priority Pixels can’t wait to see where we can take Lloyd & James Chocolate next.
