Focus on Accessibility for East London NHS Foundation Trust Website Redesign
East London NHS Foundation Trust is one of the UK’s largest specialist NHS providers, delivering services primarily across East London, Bedfordshire and Luton. Specialising in mental health, community health and primary care, the organisation prides itself on embracing practices that facilitate continuous learning and improvement, ultimately enhancing patient experience and outcomes.
In line with their commitment to inclusivity, East London NHS Foundation Trust is looking to rebuild their current website to align with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2. These guidelines aim to ensure web content accessibility for users with various impairments, including those related to vision, hearing, mobility and cognitive limitations.
At Priority Pixels, we recognise the importance of accessibility in web development. Our in-house team will be working hard to rebuild our client’s website, implementing key accessibility features such as alt text for imagery, a tabbed menu and optimal contrast ratios for text. The end result will be a website characterised by inclusive design and an improved user experience, ensuring accessibility for all. We can’t wait to get started!
