Rapid Websites gives small businesses a professionally built website without a bespoke design project. You choose from our finished example designs, we add your branding and content and we host and look after the website once it is live.
Live in Five Working Days
Rapid Websites is our entry level offering for small businesses. You pick a design from our example websites and send us your logo, words and photos. Your website is live within five working days of kick off.
No Hidden Extras
The build and the monthly hosting are agreed up front and nothing is added along the way. You know exactly what you are paying before we start.
Nothing to Maintain
There is no system to learn and nothing for you to maintain. We host and monitor the website for you and when something needs changing, you tell us and we change it.
Pick a Design, Send Your Content, We Do the Rest
A Rapid Website is a professionally built website for a small business. We are not designing from scratch. Our library of finished example websites covers numerous sectors, from trades and garages to salons, cafés, holiday cottages and community groups. You pick the design you like most and we match it to your brand colours and fill it with your content. Because every design is already built and tested, there is no design phase to pay for and that is what keeps the cost low.
Look through every sector, not only your own. A layout built for a café might be exactly right for a florist. Get in touch and we will send you the full library to look through.
A Rapid Website is a starting point. As your business grows, the same team can help with search, advertising or a larger website when the time is right.
What Every Rapid Website Includes
Every Rapid Website comes with the same foundations, whichever design and pages you choose. Here is what is included in the fixed price.
A Design Matched to Your Brand
Choose from nine design styles in our example library, each with its own header, home page layout, fonts and button shape. We then match the colours to your brand so the website looks like it belongs to your business.
Pages Chosen for Your Business
Most websites include a home page, an about page, your services and a contact page. On top of that come the pages your kind of business needs, from a price list or timetable to a gallery of finished work.
Works on Every Device
Every Rapid Website has a layout that works properly on phones, tablets and computers, with a proper mobile menu. Your customers get the same clear experience wherever they find you.
Enquiries Straight to Your Inbox
A contact form sends every enquiry directly to the email address you choose. Your customer reviews appear on every page, so visitors see what others say about you before they get in touch.
Visitor Tracking From Day One
Google Analytics is installed at launch, so you can see how many people visit the website and how they use it. That gives you real numbers to work from when you plan your marketing.
Secure Hosting and a Free SSL Certificate
Your website is hosted on our own servers and monitored, so we know straight away if anything goes wrong. It comes with a free SSL certificate that renews automatically, so it loads securely with the padlock in the browser.
The team behind your Rapid Website
Rapid Websites are built by the same Priority Pixels team that designs and develops our larger websites.
Monica Johnson
Senior Designer
Monica leads design across our web projects. She makes sure your chosen design is matched to your brand and reads well on every device.
Lisa Moody
Website & SEO Support
Lisa builds Rapid Websites. She places your content, photos and brand colours into your chosen design and connects your contact form.
Owen Lewis
Senior Web Developer
Owen handles the technical side of every build. He looks after the servers your website is hosted on, the SSL certificate and the launch onto your domain.
Jess Pearce
Digital Marketing Administrator
Jess keeps projects on track. She runs the kick off, chases the content we need and keeps the five day timeline moving.
Pages Chosen for Your Kind of Business
Your website is a small selection of pages chosen for your business rather than a fixed template. A garage does not need a projects page, a builder does and a salon needs a price list. These are the pages we add most often.
Projects and Case Studies
Examples of your work with a full page for each one. Popular with trades, builders and consultants who want to show finished work in detail.
Price Lists and Menus
Your prices set out clearly in sections. Popular with salons, barbers, cafés, pubs and groomers whose customers want to know the cost before they call.
Rooms and Accommodation
A page for each room, cottage, pitch or suite with the key details alongside. Guests can compare the options and see what is included before they get in touch.
Timetables
Your classes or sessions set out by day. Ideal for gyms, clubs and activity businesses whose customers check the timetable every week.
Galleries
A grid of your photos with captions, such as before and after work or finished projects. Real photos of your work do more to win customers than any description.
Team, FAQs and Information Pages
Meet the team pages, answers to the questions you are asked every week and information such as the areas you cover or your facilities. These pages save you time answering the same questions by phone.
From Kick Off to Live in Five Working Days
Your website goes from our first call to live in five working days. The only thing that can slow it down is waiting for your content, so it helps to have your words, photos and logo ready before we start.
Day One: Kick Off
We agree your design style and the pages your website needs. You send us your logo, words and photos using the checklist we give you at the start. The checklist covers everything we need, from your brand colours and opening hours to your customer reviews and social media links.
Day Two: Build
We build your website with your content, photos and brand colours and connect the contact form to your chosen email address. If you do not have enough photos of your own, we can source suitable stock photography for you, charged separately and picked to match what each page is about.
Day Three: Preview
We send you a private link to check everything before the website goes live. Look through every page on your phone and your computer and send us a list of anything you would like changed.
Day Four: Amendments
We make the corrections from your preview. Because the design is already finished and tested, amendments focus on your content and details rather than rebuilding layouts.
Day Five: Launch
Your website goes live on your domain with its SSL certificate and Google Analytics tracking in place. If you already have a domain name we help you point it at the new website. If you do not, we can register and manage one for you.
Rapid Websites FAQs
How much does a Rapid Website cost?
Every Rapid Website is built at a fixed low cost with simple monthly hosting and no hidden extras. Get in touch and we will send you the full details, so you know exactly what you are paying before we start.
Can I edit the website myself?
Rapid Websites are designed for businesses that would rather we look after the website, so there is no login or content management system to learn. If you later want to update it yourself or your needs grow, we can move you on to a fully bespoke website as a separate project.
How do changes work after launch?
You can take Monthly Support, which covers half an hour of small changes each month and does not roll over. Or you can pay for changes as you need them, charged at our hourly rate with a minimum of one hour, so most clients on that option save changes up and send them together.
Who owns the website?
The domain, your content and the website files all belong to you. If you ever leave, we hand the lot over and you can take the website anywhere.
Why is the SSL certificate free?
Your website comes with a free SSL certificate that renews automatically, so it loads securely with the padlock in the browser. There is no login, database or payment page on your website, so a paid certificate would not add anything and there is nothing extra to pay.
How is a Rapid Website different from a WordPress website?
WordPress makes sense when a website needs a content management system behind it, either so you can edit it yourself or so regular publishing is practical to manage. A Rapid Website has no database, plugins or login to maintain, which keeps it fast, secure and simple to look after for a small business that does not need those things.
