In short

Customer portal design and development. Secure login, documents with approval built in, project progress, invoices and support requests in one place, connected to the systems where the real data lives.

One Front Door

Emailed PDFs, shared folders and status update calls all do the same job badly. A customer portal does it properly. Your customers log in and see their documents, their project status, their invoices and their support requests in one place that is always current.

Live Data, Not Copies

Priority Pixels designs and builds portals shaped around what your customers actually need to see. Secure login, clear presentation and a connection into the systems where the real data lives, so the portal shows the truth rather than a copy someone has to update.

Start Small, Grow

The best portals start small. A first release with documents and status earns adoption, and features are added once customers are using it. The scope is set in discovery and grows as your customers ask for more, which they will.

Customer Portals Designed, Built and Secured by Our Senior Team

Every Priority Pixels portal is designed and built by senior developers who stay with it after launch. Access is scoped per customer, data is encrypted in transit and every permission is tested before launch, so each customer sees their own information and nothing else.

  • Access scoped per customer
  • Encrypted in transit
  • Live data from your systems
  • Passwordless login where useful
  • Permission boundaries tested pre-launch
  • Monitored under agreed support
  • Iteration once customers are using it
  • Direct line to the dev team

Because we are a digital agency as well as an engineering team, your portal is designed around what keeps customers logging back in, not just what is technically possible. Portals connect live to your CRM, finance system or project tools, so what customers see is the truth rather than a copy someone has to update.

What a Portal Can Hold

One place for your customers to log in and see everything they need, pulled live from the systems where the truth lives. Below are the things a portal can hold, from documents and invoices through to live reports and support.

Documents With Approval Built In

Contracts, reports and files shared securely with electronic sign-off built into the flow. Version history and audit log come as standard, so you always know who saw what and when.

Works with:

SharePointOneDriveGoogle DriveDocuSignAdobe Sign

Project Progress With Sign-off at Each Stage

Customers see where things stand and approve each stage in the portal, so status update calls become the exception. Data pulled live from your project system, always current, always visible.

Works with:

AsanaMonday.comClickUpTrelloJiraBasecamp

Invoices, Statements and Payment

Billing pulled live from your finance system so customers can see what is due, what is paid and pay direct from the portal. Statements downloadable and payment history searchable at any time.

Works with:

XeroQuickBooksSageFreeAgentStripeGoCardless

Support Requests With Visible Status

Requests raised, tracked, updated and closed in one place, with customers able to see progress instead of chasing by email. Every message logged against the ticket for future reference.

Works with:

Microsoft 365HubSpot Service HubFreshdeskZendesk

Live Reports Drawn From Your Systems

Reports personalised per customer, always current, without anyone preparing them. Whether that is service performance, hours consumed, deliverables completed or any KPI you agree with the client.

Works with:

Any APIData feedsCustom KPIs

Secure Login Options per Customer

Passwordless login by email link, single sign on for corporate customers and multi-factor authentication where sensitive data is involved. Access scoped per customer with no chance of overlap.

Works with:

Microsoft 365GoogleAuth0Okta

Meet the team

The team behind every Priority Pixels portal. Design, build and support handled by the same people, so what launches is not the last time they touch it.

Sectors We Work With

Different sectors need different things behind a portal login. We design what customers see around what they actually need to answer for themselves, whether that is a project status board for a construction client or a case tracker for a legal client.

B2B

B2B

B2B customers want to see contract status, order history and account documents without calling to ask. We build portals that give them one place to log in and stop the routine questions ever reaching your team.

Technology, IT & SaaS

Technology customers expect to see usage, billing and support in one place. We build portals that let them answer their own questions and cut support tickets and account calls in the process.

Healthcare

Healthcare portals sit under stricter rules than most. We build patient facing portals for appointments, documents and secure messaging that meet information governance standards from the login page down.

Shipping & Maritime

Shipping & Maritime

Maritime customers want voyage progress, documentation and cargo status as it happens, not once a day. We build portals connected to the operational systems so what the customer sees is live.

Construction clients want to see project progress, sign off stages and document approvals in one shared view. We build portals that give them the visibility without another round of update calls.

How We Design and Build Portals

The best portals earn adoption because customers can find the answers they used to phone in for. Ours are scoped from what customers actually ask and built to grow with the questions that come next.

Discovery of Customer Needs

Discovery starts by mapping what your customers currently ask for and what your team spends time answering. Every recurring email, every phone call about status and every request for a document that already exists is a candidate for the portal. The portal scope comes from those actual questions rather than from a template of features. You see the ranked list of what customers ask for most and choose which questions the first release answers. This means the portal earns its adoption from day one rather than launching with features nobody uses, and the team can see the hours coming back from week one.

Design and Security Model

Access is scoped per customer from the design stage. Every screen has a permission model that says which fields are visible to which customer, and every permission is tested before launch. Data is encrypted in transit as standard, and where sensitive documents are involved, encrypted at rest as well. Login is chosen to fit how your customers actually work: passwordless email link where the customer base changes often, single sign on where they run their own Microsoft or Google directory, or classic username and password where that fits their existing workflow.

Build and Data Connections

The portal is built connected live to your CRM, finance system or project tools so what customers see is the truth rather than a copy someone has to update. Data flows are read only where possible: the portal shows customers what is in your system, but the source of truth stays in the system your team already uses. Every screen is designed to be usable without training. Accessibility to WCAG 2.2 AA is built in, so the portal works for every customer regardless of ability, including customers who rely on screen readers or keyboard navigation.

Testing and Launch

Access, permissions and data flows are tested before launch. Each customer sees their own data and nothing else, and we prove that with test accounts before any real customer logs in. Load testing checks the portal will handle your busiest hour without slowing down. Launches happen with rollback available, so if anything goes wrong we return the portal to the last known good state without losing customer data. Our senior team stays close in the weeks after go live so any issue a customer reports gets picked up straight away.

Iteration Once Customers Use It

The best portals grow with the questions customers keep asking. First release earns adoption. Features are added once customers are using the portal and asking for more, which they will. Every request from a customer is logged so the roadmap comes from real demand rather than guesswork. Portals we host include monitoring, security patching and a direct route to the team that built the software, so the portal your customers rely on is looked after by the same people who designed it rather than passed to a helpdesk after go live.

Customer Portal FAQs

What happens if something breaks after launch?

Everything we build is monitored and covered by an agreed support arrangement. Issues are picked up by the team that built the portal, not a helpdesk reading from a script.

How do we start an engagement?

Every portal build starts with a short discovery call to understand what your customers ask for most often, followed by a scoping session that turns into a written proposal covering the first release, scope, cost and delivery dates. Nothing goes to development without your sign off. Reach out through the contact form and we will book the discovery call in.
