Client Overview
Promoting Children in Plymouth (PCiP) stands at the forefront of tackling one of society’s most pressing challenges: child poverty. As an initiative under Plymouth Drake Foundation, PCiP brings together public and private sector organisations to create meaningful change for children across Plymouth. With over 35% of children living in poverty in some areas, PCiP’s mission extends beyond traditional charity work.
When PCiP approached us, they needed cohesive visual communications that could effectively represent their multi-faceted approach to combating child poverty while maintaining the professional credibility necessary to engage corporate partners, public sector agencies and charitable organisations across Plymouth.

Strategic Visual Identity Development
Our collaboration with PCiP began with foundational marketing materials that established their visual presence in the community. We developed banners and created an informational brochure featuring a strategic roadmap that clearly communicated PCiP’s five work streams and long-term vision. This initial brochure became a cornerstone piece for their outreach efforts, providing potential partners with a tangible overview of how PCiP operates and the measurable impact they aim to achieve.
As PCiP’s initiatives evolved and expanded, we provided ongoing design support through brochure amendments and additional page development, ensuring their materials remained current with their growing programs. The adaptability of our design framework allowed for seamless updates while maintaining brand consistency across all communications.
Our design relationship with PCiP expanded to include various promotional materials, including roller banners that effectively showcased their roadmap at events and conferences. In early 2025, we developed large-format poster and banner materials that amplified their presence at key awareness events, helping them reach the broader Plymouth business community. Additionally, we provided specialised label artwork that supported their practical program implementations.
The success of this visual strategy has become evident in PCiP’s increased engagement and recognition within the community. The cohesive design approach has not only strengthened their brand identity but has also contributed to their growing influence in addressing child poverty, demonstrating how strategic graphic design can serve as a catalyst for social change and community mobilisation.
