Energy Saving Devon: WordPress Support Case Study

Client overview

Energy Saving Devon is Devon County Council’s energy advice service, giving households and businesses across the county free, impartial guidance on cutting energy use, reducing bills and moving to lower-carbon heating and transport. The website is the main route residents use to access this information.

Because the service sits under a local authority, the website is expected to be reliable, accessible and secure at all times.

Ongoing WordPress development, maintenance and security

Priority Pixels provides Energy Saving Devon with ongoing WordPress development support. Website changes are picked up by the same team that knows the site, so requests are handled without the long lead times that often come with dropping change requests into a queue.

WordPress maintenance is included as standard. Core, theme and plugin updates are managed on behalf of Energy Saving Devon so the website stays current and stable.

Security is treated as part of the same package, not as an add-on. Priority Pixels monitors the website for issues and keeps it protected against the types of threats a public sector website faces.

The point of the engagement is simple. Energy Saving Devon focuses on running the service. Priority Pixels makes sure the website behind it keeps working.

If your current WordPress agency treats support as an afterthought, or if change requests take weeks rather than days, get in touch. That is not how it has to work.
