The Team’s Halloween Bake Off
Halloween came to the office a couple of days early this week with a spooky bakes event put together by the team. Cobwebs went up over the Priority Pixels logo wall, spiders hung from the ceiling and an inflatable ghost kept watch over the office.
Plenty of the team came in fancy dress for the occasion but the real stars of the day were the bakes.
The table filled up quickly once the cobwebs were in place, with a good mix of sweet and savoury bakes to choose from. Gingerdead Men, Spooky Pumpkin Puffs and eyeball cheese scones sat alongside Trick-or-Treat Flapjack, Peanut Pumpkin Flapjack and ‘Scary’-aki Skulls. There were also Pastel de Nasties, Drac-u-rolls, Biscoff witch’s brooms and pesto mummies with cream cheese. Mustard and onion chutney pumpkins and vanilla haunted biscuits rounded things off, so there was something for everyone.
Why We Make Time for Days Like This
Days like this give the team a reason to step away from client websites, search and paid media for a while. Most weeks are spent heads down on builds, campaigns and reports, so a table full of bakes and a room full of costumes gets everyone talking.
Thanks go to everyone who baked, decorated and dressed up. The bar for next year’s costumes has been set high and whoever is baking will have their work cut out to beat the Gingerdead Men! Happy Halloween from everyone at the office.
