Launching the New ACPP Website
We’ve recently launched a new website for the Association of Core Process Psychotherapists (ACPP), the professional body for psychotherapists trained in Core Process Psychotherapy and other mindfulness-based approaches.
The project involved a full redesign and rebuild of the ACPP website, which had a cluttered navigation, a dated therapist directory and a backend that made managing memberships and member profiles more complicated than it needed to be. The directory sits at the centre of the site, connecting people looking for therapeutic support with qualified practitioners in their area, so the new design was built around making that process as straightforward as possible. We reorganised the navigation, developed a much more detailed search and filtering system for the directory and customised the membership plugin to give ACPP’s 300+ practitioners the ability to manage their own profiles and membership changes directly.
Alongside the rebuild, we carried out a brand refresh with an updated logo and new brand guidelines. The website was built on WordPress using a bespoke, hand-coded theme with no reliance on third-party page builders, and accessibility was considered throughout the design and build.
