World Schizophrenia Day
Posted: 13th May 2020
On the 24th of May, it is World Schizophrenia Day. Schizophrenia is a medical condition that can disable parts of the brain and affect the way your mind works. Whilst everyone experiences Schizophrenia differently, the common symptoms are:
- Abnormal Behaviour
- Disorganised Speech
- Disturbances of emotions
This World Schizophrenia Day, Priority Pixels would like to showcase one of our clients. Living with Schizophrenia UK was launched in 2013. It’s main aim is to provide information for suffers, carers and relatives in the UK who are all living with the condition. It’s secondary aim is to bring a fresh insight to the subjects of Schizophrenia and Schizo-Affective Disorder to professionals working in the field of mental health and to help improve awareness of the condition across our wider society.
Our initial design was created so that visitors to the website could easily find all the information they need in one place. We have continued to work with Living with Schizophrenia, helping upload new articles, videos, and photography whilst also hosting and maintaining the site.
For more information on the work we did to help bring the Living with Schizophrenia UK website to life, you can read the full case study here.
