£20 Million in New Grants to Boost Recovery of Small Businesses
Posted: 1st September 2020
As we ease out of lockdown, the UK Government is starting to encourage businesses to open back up again in a bid to get people back to work. With so many small and medium businesses badly hit by the global pandemic, various different grants and loans have been offered to help get them back on their feet and trading again.
The Growth Support Kickstart Grant Scheme has been devised to help small and medium businesses recover and bounce back from the effects of the Coronavirus pandemic. Offering grants between £1000 – £5000, the Government, in conjunction with the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), is working with local governments and communities to help those badly affected.
The money is designed to help buy new equipment or technology to help your business diversify your products or services or to adapt your business to meet the new socially distant working conditions. You could also use the money to seek professional and specialist HR, accountants, legal, financial, IT or digital advice to help get your business back up and running.
In order to qualify for this grant you have to meet the eligibility criteria set out by the ERDF. You can find out more information about whether your business is eligible for this Growth Support Kickstart Grant over on the Government website. To find out more information:
